We are starting the New Year with rare Geisha coffees with special processing! These are exclusive samples provided by two highly reputable coffee estates - Panama Hacienda La Esmeralda and Colombia Cafe Granja La Esperanza. Limited q'ty is available only for this event.
1. Panama Esmeralda Special Cabana SP1
Farm: Hacienda La Esmeralda
Process: Special process of fermentation in a tank during 48 hours with yeast.
Notes: Peachy, super floral, lemongrass and red fruit.
Esmeralda Special Geisha is a collection of high elevation Geisha (1,600 – 1,800 masl) with cupping scores of over 90 points. This lot is from Hacienda La Esmeralda Cañas Verdes farm. Esmeralda Special Geisha lots are invariably the highest quality Geishas. Though altitude presents challenges for growing and harvesting, it is up in the mountains of Boquete that the unique floral and citrus aromatics of geisha coffee sing brightest.
2. Colombia Geisha Napoleon
Farm: Cerro Azul, Cafe Granja La Esperanza
Process: Anaerobic. Rigorous cherry picking, it has 7 days of fermentation in anaerobic form. Coffee is collected at the indicated maturation.
Notes: sweet, brown sugar, rum, red fruits, jasmine, silky body, prolonged residual to chocolate with liquor.
