This is from the Esmeralda Special Geisha Collection - Portón 4 NB was harvested on February 12th, 2025 in the Portón lot located in Hacienda La Esmeralda’s El Velo farm. After harvest, the coffee cherries were taken to Hacienda La Esmeralda’s mill in Palmira, where they were slow dried for 29 days on raised beds. Portón 4 NB has notes of peach, pomegranate, cherry liquor and jasmine.
At Esmeralda, they hand pick the ripest, reddest cherries. Nurtured in the volcanic soils of Boquete and sprinkled with mists of the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans, this is the exceptional Esmeralda Geisha.
